Terra Running Co. said goodbye to our real “boss” this month, 12-year-old Rocky.
Rocky has been with Terra Running from the beginning – you may have run with him during a 5k training program, seen him walking around downtown, or noticed him illustrated in the window of your 2023 Cleveland Half & 5k finisher medal! He loved to run and walk, and especially enjoyed his “Rocky’s Daily Mile” challenge, where he and owner Brittany walked at least one mile a day together.
To honor Rocky and his love of walking, we are bringing back the “Rocky’s Daily Mile” challenge, this time supporting the SPCA of Bradley County (Rocky was a rescue)!
What is Rocky’s Daily Mile?
It is a commitment to walk (or run!) at least 1 mile a day for two weeks during the month of May! For each participant,* Terra Running Company will donate $12 to the SPCA of Bradley County in honor of Rocky’s 12 years with us.
How do you join?
Simply track your days or walking or find our post on instagram or Facebook and comment, I’LL WALK FOR ROCK. When you’re done, fill out the form below and Terra Running Co. will make a donation! Oh and don’t forget to send us pictures of you and your furry pal walking or running so we can feature you in our story!
Anything else?
In addition to the mile challenge, you can honor Rocky by donating directly to the SPCA here (let them know Rocky sent you in the donation notes!) and by joining us at the SPCA, May 4th at 12 pm to walk other shelter dogs! We will also be collecting physical donations for the SPCA in store at Terra Running Company all month long.
